Author Guidelines

At-Tashawwur: Journal of Educational Research accepts original research articles and conceptual papers in the following fields:

  1. Islamic Studies
  2. Madrasah Studies
  3. Islamic Culture

 

A. General Requirements

  1. The manuscript must be original, have not been published elsewhere, and must not be under review in another journal.
  2. The manuscript should be written in Indonesian or English using proper academic language.
  3. Manuscripts must be typed on A4 paper, with 5 cm margins on all sides, using Consolas font size 12, single spacing (except for abstract: Consolas 11, single spacing).
  4. The length of the manuscript should be between 4000–8000 words, including references.
  5. Manuscripts should be submitted through the Open Journal System (OJS) of At-Tashawwur Journal.

 

B. Research Article Structure

  1. Title (maximum 15 words, clear and informative).
  2. Author’s Name (without academic titles), along with affiliation and corresponding email.
  3. Abstract (150–250 words, written in both Indonesian and English, followed by 3–5 keywords).
  4. Introduction (includes background, research problem, objectives, and a brief literature review).
  5. Research Method (covers research approach, method, sources of primary and secondary data, data collection techniques, research subjects, research instruments, data analysis techniques, and validity tests).
  6. Results and Discussion (may include tables/figures when necessary; discussion must be linked to relevant theories or previous studies).
  7. Conclusion and Research Recommendations.
  8. References (only sources cited in the text; minimum 15 references, with at least 80% from journals or recent works published within the last 10 years).
  9. Acknowledgment/Declaration (clearly and briefly state any acknowledgments to parties who contributed to the publication of the article).

 

C. Citation and References

  1. Citations and references must follow the APA Style, 7th Edition.
  2. Authors are encouraged to use reference management software (e.g., Mendeley, Zotero).
