Strategic management is a process that is systematically designed through management to formulate strategies, execute strategies and evaluate strategies in order to provide the best values for all customers to realize the organization's vision. Strategic management deals with the components and structure of strategy management including environmental observation, strategy formulation, strategy implementation, and evaluation and control. Efforts to improve the quality of education of Private Islamic Higher Education Institutions (PTAIS) with the Strategic Management approach developed by Hunger and Wheelen (2003: 4) are well-known for the Four (4) Concepts, namely: Environmental Analysis This stage includes the Analysis of Extremes and Internal Focus on Strength, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and threats in Tridarma Perguruan Tinggi include Education, Research and Community Service. Strategy Formulation is a stage for determining and designing all plans to improve the quality of higher education, both Education, Research and community service such as vision, mission, goals, strategies, and policies, as well as sketches of the stages of the process that will be passed to be more mature and comprehensive designed to be able to produce more competitive and productive Islamic higher education (PTAIS). Implementation of this stage of the Strategy includes Programs, Budgets and Procedures to improve the quality of PTAIS education in the field of Education, research and community service as a follow-up of strategic planning, evaluation and supervision is the last stage in the strategic management of an oversight process of organizational activities and performance results by comparing the desired performance so that information on performance results can be used by PTAIS leaders to make corrective actions and solve problems relating to Tridarma College of Education.
